S&W No 3 Russian Model, 44 Russian, Antique

Smith & Wesson No 3 Russian Model in 44 Russian. 6.5" barrel, 6 shot. Iconic S&W Model that was used throughout the American West and many were shipped to Russia under a military contract. Retains the trigger spur, many had these cut off over time, nice to see it intact. This is a well used example that's been there, done that. Half and full cock present, half cock is light, full cock needs quite a bit of force to pull back hammer. Timing is decent, lockup is fair with about 2mm of movement. Bore and cylinder walls show wear/pitting. Barrel to frame connection has movement. Original grips show wear/dings, lanyard ring is intact. Extractor works well as it should. Again it's a well used example, if only it could talk. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
