Webley MP Metropolitan Police revolver with NSW New South Wales Police markings as it was issued to Police in Australia! This revolver accepts 45ACP handloads with appropriate length lead as well as 455 Webley. 2.5" barrel, 6 shot. This is a great compact official Webley with a big bore cartridge. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing is great, lockup is rock solid with zero play. Half and full cock work well. Bore and cylinder walls rate good-very good. Exterior retains a a fair bit of its original gloss finish on barrel and sides. Original one piece grip has wear/dings, lanyard ring is intact. Overall a great solid example with Australian Police provenance! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
