Whitney Pocket Revolver in 31 Percussion caliber. 4" barrel, 5 shot. Manufactured circa late 1850's- early 1860's. The Whitney's had a nice strong topstrap unlike the comparable Colt 1849 Pocket revolvers. Most of these were private purchased by family members to send along with loved ones going into combat during the American Civil War. All 3 hammer clicks are present. Timing and lockup are good. Cylinder nipples are good with the exception of one having a split. Factory cylinder scene retains most of its visuals, which is quite rare for this model. Bore rates good for the vintage. Original grips, right grip has a repaired crack, left grip has a crack that's holding well. Overall a unique Civil War Era revolver! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1325 includes Free Shipping. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
