British P1839 musket .75 Cal percussion cap with 38” barrel (Muzzle may have been shortened slightly/repaired) as others list are at 38.5” and the book states 39” for a P39. The lock works great and has a very strong hammer spring and barrel looks good. The push rod has been modified but I do have an untouched original British rod for a 38" - 39” barrel musket. Missing some hardware where stock was sported/cut back. Factory mark on butt stock, lock plate has Crown over GR (King George IV) and Tower, inspection and proof marks on barrel. You can see the lock was a flint lock from a Brown Bess that was converted and the barrel fixed with a procession cap ignition. In 1839 a number of these P1839 conversions were sent to Canada for cold weather trials as percussion caps were entering service as the new tier one arms. $465 plus shipping (likely $55-$60 shipping depending on where you live). I can sell a hard-to-find original push rod for $95 extra as an upgrade, shipping N/A or pickup in Carleton Place, Ontario
