Here is an early 1960’s or 70’s flintlock trade gun replica.

This gun just got completely restored by MusketHeritage.com

-New stronger main spring (the original spring will come with the gun).

-Frizzen face polished and thermicaly re-threated (this frizzen is made of good carbone steel and should create sparks for years to come).

-All metal parts of the gun were polished, including the mechanism.

-Wood stock refinished.

The mechanism as the ´´sitting fox’´ insigma  and a JRF engraved. The barrel as ´´Mc Coll’´ engraved on top. The mechanism is of top quality and creates lots of sparks.

The barrel is 36,5 inches long.

This gun is particular because it as a rifled barrel. (50 cal.). The originals had a smooth bore. What is also particular with it is its ergonomy.  Very easy to shoulder and aim  comfortably. The rear and front sights are very well made and located at the perfect place to aim with a clair vision of the two of them.

The bore is as new. In fact the gun in its intregality is as new and guarantied by MusketHeritage.com

So to simplifie things, it’s a perfectly well made rifle for target shooting or hunting ,but using a most beautifull flintlock gun.

Priced at $1250 plus shipping.
