Inland M1A1 U.S. Paratrooper Carbine (restricted) .30 carbine

THIS GUN IS VALUED AT $5,000. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND THE RIGHT BUYER, SO IT IS BEING OFFERED AT A DISCOUNT. General Motors Inland Manufacturing Division United States military M1A1 paratrooper carbine made in 1943, .30 carbine. All original early type one. Not restored, refurbished or modified in any way that I can tell. Still has the original leather cheek guard from ‘43! (Refurbished rifles have numbers/ letters on the rivets of the cheek guard.) Comes with canvas sling, 2 mags and original mag pouch dated 1943. For some reason one of the previous owners added a second rivet to one of the magazines. It now only holds four rounds, not five. Also comes with bayonet & sheath that I was given with the gun. (Even though there is no bayonet lug on this.) The gun has some wear on the finish and it shows its age. There are several dings and scrapes on the stock. To be expected considering this thing is an old war horse. She is 80 years old now.

I also have a magazine repack kit to go with the gun. It includes several stripper clips and stripper clip guide for the magazines. In like new condition. Has new cardboard sleeves as well.

Comes with 121 rounds Winchester FMJ ammo & 50 rounds Remington soft point. All are 110 grain.

This is a gun that you really don’t see for sale very often. It is a great historical piece or any mil-surp collector. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any of your questions or a request for more pictures. 

Please understand that this is a restricted class rifle and requires a restricted PAL. We will have to do a transfer the same way as we used to do hand guns before you can take possession.
