A nice 1853 pattern Enfield 3 band musket complete with sling, cleaning rod, bayonet and scabbard. The lock is in good working order. Metal is in good condition, although the rear sight needs some work and reattachment. The wood has some scratches and general wear and tear associated with a 160 year old rifle, there is a small chip out of the wood on the toe of the buttstock. The bayonet is in good shape and fits nicely on the rifle. Has the 24th marked on it so possibly issued to the Kent Battalion of infantry. A very nice piece of history. I have never fired it. If you intend on shooting it I would have it checked over by a gunsmith before taking it to the range.
