Post 64 push feed model 70 in .222 rem (1973 iirc). 21” barrel and 13 1/2” length of pull.
A few modifications, not done by me. Any questions please ask.
Converted to a single shot, it has a home made follower neatly glued in place, feeds flawless and extracts flawless, but doesn’t eject the case. It leaves the case on the follower. *** I have found a follower to go with the rifle, but there is no internal box or spring!!***
The screw holes for the open sights (has no open sights) are out of line by a hair, so the barrel has been played with. (See photos).
The stock shows very faint checkering marks, so it was worked down at some point from what it originally was. It fits and feels great more like a featherweight stock. (see photos)
Comes with the rail but no scope.
Also RCBS dies plus a Hornady neck sizer, 140 pcs 40gr v max bullets, about 80 pcs Hornady 52gr hpbt bullets and a 20-40 Hornady brass not pictured.
$675 without the reloading gear
$750 with the reloading gear
$25 if needing shipped ( rifle will be taken down for shipping)
Would look at trades in .223 with 1-8 or faster twist barrel.
May look at scopes of equal value as well either 20x and higher with 30mm tube, or 10x and smaller with 1” tube. No old leupolds or vortex plz.
