Remington M1891 Mosin rifle, 1917 dated
These M1891 Mosin rifles were built in the US during WW1 for a 1915-1917 contract with the Russian Empire.
All parts are serial matching - buttplate and trigger guard are the original Remington serial numbers. The stock was restamped by the Finns, but it is the original American walnut one that the rifle came with.
The only non-Remington part is the bolt, which was stamped matching by the Finns.
Finnish capture SA stamp is on the left side of the barrel, along with some kind of inventory number on the left side of the receiver.
The bore is in great shape, I have shot this rifle and can confirm that it groups very well.
