I am looking to part ways with this somewhat collectable cooey model 71, which is chambered in .270 winchester.
Cooey is a Canadian made winchester model 70 more or less. From my understanding they were produced circa 1968. This example I have here is in extremely great shape, the stock has one small chip (pictures, and very minor) the rubberized butt pad has a couple cracks due to its age, but again very minor, and the bolt knob has fading of the bluing. Otherwise there is no surface rust, the stock is practically perfect, the bluing is beautiful. The action cycles as it should, and it comes with a vintage bushnell banner scope with 1.5x4 magnification, which looks to be period correct.
The rifle has a 21" barrel, with factory iron sights still on there, truly little to anything wrong with this fine firarm. A truly well kept and prime example of history.
Selling for my grandfather, asking $1200 obo. I'm open to offers, just ask! No trades, willing to ship on buyers dollar.
