The Mosin 91/30 was the standard Soviet rifle during WW2

This rifle was made at the Tula Arsenal in 1937 and later factory refurbished at Balakleya Arsenal.

It has a great bore, all matching serial numbers, great bluing, and no mechanical issues.

M91/30's were made at two arsenals - Izhevsk and Tula. The Tula rifles are slightly more collectible due a smaller overall production, slightly nicer fit and finish over Izhevsk, and a nicer logo (big star with arrow on the top of the barrel shank).

This example was made in 1937 - the rifles made in the late 1930's are considered to be the highest quality for shooting purposes as manufacturing quality, fit and finish of Mosin rifles dropped off after 1941 due to the German invasion.

Caliber 7.62x54mmR - a common and cheap surplus round, the cheapest full size rifle round currently on the Canadian market.
