Good day. I have a pretty remarkable piece for sale here - a K98k made by Mauser Oberndorf that I believe is unfired. This 1941 example is one of the Portuguese contract Mausers, designation m/937B, in the "F block" of production. For your reference, the only difference between these K98s and the Wehrmacht ones are the addition of a Portuguese crest on the receiver and stock, despite the fact that due to wartime shortages, Wehrmacht soldiers were indeed issued some of these Portuguese contract Mausers. Allegedly, there were only a few crates of these brand new, unfired Mausers that were found and imported to the UK and Canada. This is one of these rifles. All matching, with matching bayonet. Definitely a cornerstone of any WWII or German Mauser collection.
I have tried to capture images showing the rifle's intact bluing on wearing surfaces, such as the bolt, bolt face, and follower. I have additional pictures that are of higher quality than Gunpost allows that I can send to your email. The asking price is shipped in a soft case. Thank you.
Edit: I will consider your Russian milsurp trade, maybe a PU sniper or M44. Cheers.
