Mauser K98 BNZ 41 (Sporterized "the only thing sporterized is the rear sight)
Barrel and action+trigger guard+bolt.(no stock)
This BNZ 41 Mauser K98 was manufactured by Steyr Arms in Austria for the German army during World War II. Steyr was one of several key factories producing firearms for the Wehrmacht at the time. The "BNZ" code was assigned to Steyr to obscure the origin of war materials as part of the German military’s production strategy.
The bore and rifling are in very good+ condition—bright, strong, and well-defined.
The rear sight has been replaced, but restoring it to the original military configuration should be straightforward.
Overall, this rifle remains in very good condition, a solid example of a WWII-era K98k with historical significance.
