A Pedersoli copy of the original Remington Rolling Block design, adapted to be an inline .50 cal muzzleloader. It uses standard 209 shotgun primers for ignition, and operates just the same as the famous cartridge version.

This rifle is in absolutely beautiful condition. It has been carried and fired a few times, but the wood furniture is in beautiful condition and so is the steel/brass. The barrel and breech are spotless.

The barrel is 28", overall length being 44", it's quite handy and carries very well on the stalk or in the stand.

The rifle handles extremely well, and the open sights are very quick to acquire. It is currently wearing the factory fibre-optic sights, but is also factory drilled and tapped for a picatinny scope rail, unfortunately I don't have the rail, so if you want to use a scope you'd have to source the rail online or from a Pedersoli dealer like MARSTAR.

Overall it's a great deer gun for those of us who hunt the muzzleloader season. And if you can see past the modern conveniences of the rubber buttpad and the fibre-optic sights, it's a really cool way to keep a vintage aesthetic on your deer hunt.
