.308 Target Rifle

Willing to drive up to 100 km/1 hr. to facilitate a transfer.  I am putting this up because the long range bug never took hold and it's time to thin the herd. I am the second owner, acquired the rifle in 2009 and seldom used it.

What is up is a custom built competition rifle, assembled by the late Sam Adams for the first owner. It consists of a Sako II action, custom floating barrel (shown in photos with the $20 bill under it), MacMillan Stock with rail mount underneath as shown in photo. Leupold Vari X III 3.5 - 10 X scope. 5 rd internal mag and comes with an aluminum bench rest followed that converts it to single shot.   I will include a box of Lapua 167 gr HPBT, which is what I have used in it.

The bipod is not included in the sale.

This is a used rifle and shows normal wear on the bluing. It is in good to very good condition and works well. I shot it on August 25th 2024 to verify function, see photo.  Not my best but this was a 30 degree day and after setting up a match all morning....
