Hate to let it go, but health etc. dictates!! This is a .375, based on the 338 win mag necked up. The builders were at the old Guncrafters shop in Calgary. One guy did the barreling and metalwork, the other did the stocking. Has some engraving and gold inlay. Shilen barrel. Timney trigger. I don't know what to call the wood "type", circassian?, turkish?, but its beautiful. Grain flow is perfect straight through the wrist, for max strength. Has ruger express sights if you are a open sight nut. Bedding is perfect. Brass is made from 458 win mag, necked down, or from .375 h+h I preferred, Or necking up 338 winmag. Custom rcbs dies. Also comes with ammo, and formed brass, and a bunch of bullets. I used 260gr partitions for moose, but changed to 260 accubonds. Included are 300gr hornady r.n., and spirepoints, plus the famous 275 horn. spirept., , 300gr sierras, and several boxes of lighter ones for fire forming, 225 etc. I will show the buyer how to use bullseye and corn meal for blowing out 375 h+h brass. It works like a charm with no recoil. I packed this thing many miles. Moose and elk hunting. Sure puts them down, with "confidence"!! Length of pull is deliberately a bit long at 14.5 inch. However, I had a leopold 4-14 on it, and the long eye relief was perfect. But....as I age, I do not handle big recoil anymore. I don't want big maggie to be a safe queen. It has a few little "experience" marks on the stock. hardly noticeable. P.S. this site wants a caliber shown, but does not give this one! So I am calling it 375 h+h instead.
pal needed, ride on buyer, (depending on postal strike!!),
