I am selling my Model 70 in .270win.
This rifle is in very good condition. It was manufactured in 1982. I have owned for 7 years. The walnut stock is in beautiful condition with plenty of character in the grain. It has an oil rubbed finish. It has a Pachmeyer Decelerator recoil pad which makes it a pleasure to shoot.
The action is as smooth as I have ever felt in any rifle. The bolt has a jewelled finish. The bluing on the bolt handle is worn from use, but is still in good condition. The bluing is overall in very good shape with a few spots of wear that would be typical of a 40 year old rifle.
The trigger is crisp and the rifle shoot well.
The scope is a Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42mm with a depleted. It is a very nice scope in excellent condition.
