BAIKAL IZH-18MH in 7.62X39
A rifle, very rare to come by for sale, in this very caliber.
* A single-shot break action, with extractor and cocking indicator. Break opening lever located behind the trigger guard. Metal blueing is good.
* 24 inch cold hammer forged barrel with external twist. Barrel is shiny like a mirror.
* Adjustable blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u-notched rear sight with ramp. In addition to iron sights rifle comes with Picatinny rail assembly.
* Two piece smooth wood stocks with a pistol grip. Grooved brown polymer butt plate and sling swivels.
* Rifle quickly disassembles, which makes it an excellent dirt bike gun or a truck gun.
* Last two pictures are for reference purpose only and show rifle with installed scope and picatinny rail. Of course, scope is not for sale. Rail was removed for transportation and will be included.
* Even being an intermediate caliber, 7.62x39 is still a "30-caliber" like the venerable .308 Winchester or .30-06 Springfield, but without the punishing felt recoil. If you are a recoil sensitive person, this one is for you. As a matter of fact, recoil is less than in most of the known low recoil calibres. Check comparison chart in the very last photo.
