Beautiful Mauser

Pictures are self explanatory on condition , beautiful example of a German manufactured Mauser sporting rifle. ( When I acquired it, I was told it’s a Waffen-Franconia German made in the 50s or early 60s) that’s all I know about its origin and manufacturing.

30-06, 24 inch barrel, internal magazine, open sights, drilled and tapped for scope, “double set triggers.” Mauser style 3- position safety.

Very well taken care of, has some safe and handle marks(maybe two), no cracks, no rust, oil finish wood, control round feed, claw extraction.

I fired 20 rounds of factory Federal fusion ammo , it grouped 5 into 1.2 inch@100

Bore is bright, no idea of actual round count but I would say not many, it appears to have sat in a safe most of it life.

Everything works as it should.

I am selling due to not using it and for my style of hunting, it’s far too nice to beat it up, I have other gear to purchase, unfortunately it’s got to go.
