1958 made Winchester Model 88 - This rifle appears all original except for rear pad. It has a tight action that functions perfectly. This rifle in very good to excellent condition for a gun made that many years ago. The Model 88 was one of the most aesthetically pleasing rifles ever produced. Visually, it resembled a lever action bred to a bolt action. It was a streamlined rifle that featured a solid frame, front locking 3-lug rotating bolt, side ejection, short throw lever, crossbolt safety, one-piece walnut pistol grip stock, black butt plate, and a steel 4-shot detachable box magazine.

A gold bead front and adjustable folding rear open sights are provided. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and aperture sights. The receiver has been hand-engraved with an identification number of the bottom. (see photo) Sling attachment points at included. The round, featherweight contour barrel is 22 in long and the rifle's overall length is 42.5 in.
