This is a side-gate X-Model carbine, Henry Big Boy Model H012MX, chambered in .357 Magnum / .38 Special.
17-3/8” barrel, black synthetic stocks with integral rail up front, red & green fibre-optic sights front and back, threaded muzzle with cover.
The original owner tells me he has fired only a couple of dozen rounds through this, and it shows. There are no handling marks I can find, aside from some brass smears on the loading gate. There are no mounting marks around the scope base screws, or clamp marks on the picatinny rail, or rotation marks around the swivel mounts. It is truly in excellent condition. Comes with the original manual, but the factory box and other paperwork are gone.
