I have here an excellent condition pre 64 modle 70 (1937) in 300 Holland and Holland. This rifle is all original with the exception of the peep sight. However, no extra holes were drilled or tapped anywhere on this rifle! It has 2 factory drilled and tapped holes on the front reciever ring as well as the two side receiver holes that the bausch and lomb period correct scope and mount screw into. It also retains its folding rear sight.
The scope glass is excellent and clear but the outside has some marks. It is on a quick release system.
Bluing is very good, bore and stock are excellent.
This rifle is in excellent condition and comes with dies and brass.
I'm looking to trade for european rifles in european calibres. I'm really on the hunt for a (cz/brno etc) 416 rigby, 404 Jeffery, 9.3 possibly a 375 h&h. +/- cash and can combine with my other ads. Oberndorf original sporters, too.
