Winchester Mod. 1886, 40-65 caliber, lever action rifle, 27” octagon barrel , which has been cut down. It likely was originally 30”. Rifling fair to poor from pitting but still prominent. Function is good, and front and rear sight appear original. See pictures for condition. Good. Made in 1898
