Remington 788 in 223, overall in very good shape, bore, steel in very good shape.Wood stock also very nice.5 round detachable mag, 22" barrel sights removed along time ago, has bases installed. Gun is accurate and fun to shoot.Medium contour barrel. Bolt has 9 rear locking lugs resulting in a very strong rigid action, bolt is smooth to operate. This design was why it was discontinued, was more accurate than the 700.Remington couldn't have that happen. made in 1979.
