I have a 1943 dated Maltby built No 4 Mk 1/2 that was put through a Factory Thorough Repair (FTR) or rebuild post war. The rifle is in good condition with Receiver, Bolt and Magazine serial number matching.
The furniture is in good condition with the forend having been altered from a No 4 Mk 1 style to fit the No 4 Mk 2 style of trigger hung on the receiver. The wood is not original to the rifle as the forend appears to be a modified Long Branch part. There is a crossbolt installed across it he rear stock tieplate which is in two pieces to accommodate the upgraded trigger. Brass buttplate and Mark 1 rear sight installed. The barrel is a five groove in good condition, shiny with no pitting
Everything is complete and works as it should. Comes with a sling.
Shipping is additional.
