All,
I have for sale a 1944-dated Fazakerley Lee Enfield No4Mk1 rifle in overall excellent condition. This is a gun produced late in the war, so stamped bands, stamped Mk2 rear sight, and electro-penciled markings on the receiver and bolt, but it is an excellent example of an English rifle. Everything on the gun is English and appropriate for the era - it has a matching serial on the bolt and receiver, but the magazine is unserialized. The barrel is a five groove with nice, deep rifling, and a Number 0 bolt head which headspaces appropriately and has appropriate firing pin protrusion, both checked against armourer's gauges. The lumber is in great shape overall, couple of normal dings and wear, indentations - nice beech furniture, which was common for FTR'd guns, with an alloy buttplate.
The rifle comes with an original English sling, as well as an English brass oiler (WW1, but cooler), leather washer, new old stock pull through, as well as two new old stock chargers and a P37 ammo pouch. It also comes with an English blade bayonet that is in excellent condition - some typical finish wear, but the blade is awesome.
Shipping is not included but will be via CanadaPost Expedited Post, insured for $100. Item will ship once payment is received and PAL verification is done - I'm presently only able to make it to the post office on weekends, due to work.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Bradley
