Israeli Mauser 98k in 7.62x51mm NATO/308 Win
Rifle is built on a German DUV 42 (Astrawerke) produced receiver, it would have been completed into a rifle at the Buchenwald camp in 1943. The bolt is also German, and stamped by the Israelis to match the receiver, which is uncommon and desirable. The barrel shows as new, possibly unissued condition. Wood is sound, I see no cracks, has Hebrew cartouche on butt. Will throw in a properIsraeli issue sling. Action is smooth and nice. I've fired 10 rounds to verify function. Sights were on with what I shot.
$1300 plus shipping firm, as it is nicer than other Israeli 98s I've had at similar or slightly lower pricing. No interest in trades.
