Hi folks !
Sadly, I have to part from my G29/40. Other projects require funding and this nice history piece deserves to be in another person's collection.
This is a very interesting Mauser. It looks like a K98, but it isn't for a few particular reasons. I invite you to look up the video of Forgotten Weapons about it.
The weapon is almost matching, except at two places, the front band and the nose cap.
Everything else is matching.
I haven't shot the rifle, but the previous owner told me he did fire a couple of rounds.
I believe that the stock is original and has been repaired by someone else. I think this rifle had the German army's approval. Thus, it may have been used by them (the little H on the stock with the eagle).
I'm no expert, I've only done a simple research on this weapon. Please do not take my word for it.
Side note : The sling, the ramrod and the sight hood is all repro.
I do not wish to trade. I would like to have a face to face deal. Shipping is not an option at the moment.
