Didn't want to sell this, but could use the money instead. For sure fun gun and would be great for civil war reenactments.
Antonio Zoli Italian Replica 1841 Mississippi Rifle. Chambered in 58 Cal, the originals would have been in 54 Cal. Around the begin of the Civil War they would have reamed out and recut the rifling for 58 Cal, matching the Caliber of the standard Springfield Rifle Musket.
Has an extra nipple in the patch box.
Had no issue with this gun firing, but did just spray some ballistol down the barrel. Would be a good idea to clean that out before trying to load.
Few small cracks near barrel band clips and back if tang.
Full pound of Goex FFG, most of a box of 58 Cal Balls .570, and Most of a tin of Musket Caps.

If I was going to keep it, I was thinking of getting a Retro High Lux Scope. The idea was to make a Buffalo Gun or Confederate Sniper Rifle.
Another idea was to add tacks, leather maybe some beading and carvings. Make a surplus gun that would have been acquired by an Indigenous Person in the 1870s or later.
