The rifling is good for a 108 year old rifle. The bore and crown are good. Shoots well. But she is a work horse. This rifle has repairs on the stock from the arsenal. Is missing a chip from upper hand guard by the sight (I will include a photo). I'm sure this rifle could tell many interesting stories. However I don't know any. It was purchased as a lot from a local sale.
