Up for sale is an excellent and carried WW1 Mauser Oberndorf 1916 dated Gew 98. This example is a rare matching rifle down to the screws.
Stock has not been sanded and still shows cartouches and serial number under keel. Original Gewehr 98 sling on the rifle intact, but in fragile condition in keeping with its age. Cleaning rod looks to be one digit off of serial. A very nice all original example for your collection. Much harder to find than k98ks. More pictures available upon request (maximum 10 allowed here).
