For sale is an excellent matching WW1 Mauser Oberndorf 1916 dated Gewehr 98. This example is matching down to the action screws.
Stock has not been sanded and still shows cartouches and serial number under keel. Original Gewehr 98 sling on the rifle intact, but in fragile condition in keeping with its age. Cleaning rod looks to be one digit off of serial. The action is “in the white” as it should be and hasn’t been cleaned. A very nice all original example for your collection. Much harder to find than k98ks. More pictures available upon request (maximum 10 allowed here).
