Belgian FN-49

Up for grabs is a Belgian FN 49 in 30.06. Very,Very good condition,shoots excellent. Now the stock has been redone at somepoint long before I owned it which has been many years. It was barely sanded as the stock has a matching serial number on right side,all the gun is matching numbers. Metal is black which was common for FN,s not sure if it is redone or not ,couple chips in the paint,see pictures. There is a bit of white paint on reciever sight,can be removed. This is a scrubbed reciever,imported around 1975 by century arms,scubbing was done in Europe before import. Tried to do the best I could to see barrel inside,if not good enough you,ll have to stop bye and look. Bayonet is not numbered to gun and no number on it ,just a makers mark. these where some of the last ones made as replacements for the Fn and came unnumbered. All these facts come from the Dwayne johnson book on this rifle. Has a 2 piece firing pin installed,riveted magizine.

Included in sale is a authentic sling for the Belgian army,dated 1952, cleaning kit in butt stock,origanal 1 piece firing pin(no spring) and a Argentine gun sock,I has to rivet the bottom as the stiching let go,these are old,but is in good shape and keeps the safe kisses off her. Also have a spare stock,fits the gun well. Varnished sort of o.k. and has a repair on the side but there if needed. Sort of varnished the same color as gun

If picked up i will throw in one box of ammo and will sell what i have left for 32 bucks a box,all ppu which is what the gun is set for. Will not ship ammo,don,t ask
