Price Drop. Savage 1899 Lever Action in 30-30 Made in 1930

Savage 1899 lever action rifle in 30 30, date of manufacture is 1930. It's in very good condition considering it's age. 

Footnote, Arthur Savage created the 1899 because he did not like the Winchesters use of 30 30 and wanted to create a lever gun that could use a more pointed bullet. However, due to the fact the 30 30 was so prevalent he had no choice but to make them avail in that caliber. But he did not like doing it, and that kids is your history lesson for today.
