Savage 1899 300 Savage Takedown

Savage 1899 Takedown in 300 Savage made in 1925. Metal and wood was restored by previous owner at some point. Wood now has a gloss finish, not perfect. Receiver has some minor pitting, that has been re-blued over during restoration. Stock is a bit warn in places and the takedown latch sits a bit proud on the fore-stock. Action locks up tight though, good bore and rifling. Cosmetically it’s a 6 out of 10, it’s a shooter not a collector. Priced accordingly. Shipping available.
