Lee Enfield 1917 #1 MkIII .303 Sporter With Scope Mount and Rings

NO TRADES. 1917 stamped #1 Mk3 .303 Lee Enfield sporter. Barrel is 23 inches long with no sights. Bore is very good - shiny with strong rifling. Numbers match on receiver and barrel. Barrel is stamped ‘17 as well as HV on the top. No magazine included. Rifle has a Weaver mount and scope rings (for one inch scope tube). Walnut stocks are in good shape. Looks like someone painted the stock ends black for that Sporter look. Nice original brass butt plate. Rifle cocks and clicks and the safety works.
