A very rare version of British Long Lee Enfield rifle. It was built as a Long Lee in 1898. Then converted in 1909 adding the loading bridge for faster clip loading. Both front and rear sights were modified as well for latest bullet pattern back then. This example is in general good condition for the age. Missing rear sight slider. Metal finish still good, no live rust or heavy pitting. Volley sights, mag cut off still present. Wood has a repair above trigger. Serial numbers I can find are matching. Factory stock cartouche is faint but likely year of service was stamped on buttstock. Regiment info on tang of buttplate which is rare. Bore is shining and sharp like new.
