French WWI M1892 Berthier Carbine Origin

Here is an origin French Berthier 1892 carbine. Rare unmodified 3 rds internal mag, no handguard version. Caliber 8mm Lebel. Serial numbers that I can find are matching. Some patina on metal parts, no live rust or pitting. Receiver and barrel marked N proof for N ball hot cartridge. Wood has several old repairs, no remaining major damage seen. Missing saddle ring and rear sling swivel. No signs of Turkish marking or modification so I believe it should be always French use. I haven’t shot it but manually cycles well.
