This is a rare banner Mauser 98 Standard Model in good condition. Metal finish is intact good condition. No rust or pitting. Serial number been restamped, possible arsenal refurb at some point. Wood stock has Weimar eagle proof mark cartouche, no crack or other major damage seen. Action cycles very well. Receiver ring with Mauser banner. See pics for details. Bore is good with strong crisp rifling. Very interesting and rare seen example of early pre war Mauser K98. Asking 1900, shipping on buyer if needed.
