A nice sample of a WW2 British rifle.
Barrel is in very good to excellent condition, 5 groove barrel with prominent lands.
Barrel is dated 1943 as well.
Matching bolt to receiver, bolt head indexes well with in spec and head space is tight. No-Go armourer’s inspection gauge (0.070”) does not close. Firing pin protrusion passes Go and No-Go gauging.
No cracks in wood and comes with No4 MkII bayonet.
All fore end wood appears to be Long Branch and butt stock is UK
All cleaned, serviced and ready to go. The condition of the barrel is the highlight of this rifle.
