Beautiful Springfiled Trapdoor Model 1888 for sale. Caliber is 45-70 gov black powder. Cleaning rod/spike bayonet present. Wrist cartouche still visible. MFD in 1893 according to the cartouche. Small crack on both side behind receiver and lock plate. Shown in the picture. A scratch under the lock plate. Action working well, even the ejector functions good. Metal exterior turned into brown patina all over. Case hardening still can be seen on the inside of trapdoor block. Bore very good with shinning. Antique class no PAL required. Asking $1550, shipping on buyer if needed.
