I have a very uncommon STEVENS 416-B RANGER for sale.
It was manufactured in the 1930's but remains in very good shape. It is extremely comfortable to hold and shoot. It has the aperture sights but no hood as was the norm for this model I believe.
It also comes with one original 5 round mag and 3x10 aftermarket Savage magazines.
I used it for Bench shooting and had it paired with a Lyman All American Permacentre with Weaver rings as it suited the look of the rifle. I bought the scope of a gentleman on Canadiangunnutz. He had the scope refurbished by a company in the states who made it into 30x from 20x.
The rifle is a consistent 1/2" shooter from the bench at 50 yards, very often producing groups a lot tighter.
