(SPF) A nice vintage Stevens Arms .22 LR lever single shot take down.
This was first marketed in the 1890's as the Boys Rifle.
This model is the "Crack Shot 26" produced between 1912 to 1939 and then a short run in 1943.
Production was stopped when WW2 broke out so the Stevens Arms factory which owned by Savage could produce war materials. One of the most famous war rifles to be produce was the Lee Enfield No4 Mk1* Rifle, which was for a British contract 1941- Dec 1944.

The bore is quite good and has prominent rifling and has a 20-inch barrel.
Overall condition is good to very good.

A very nice historic sample from the Stevens Arms Factory in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, USA

Shipping is extra, but being a takedown it would be a very reasonable shipping cost.
