Marlin 1893 Takedown rifle, pistol grip, A checkered wood, hard rubber shotgun buttplate, part octagon barrel. In scarce 32-40. Classy S-curved pistol grip. Made in 1898 from what I can see online, so US antique. Overall nice honest condition, checkering still crisp on grip, but thinner on forearm. Takes down easily, TD mechanism nice and tight. Zero play. Very small chip of wood missing left side upper tang. Lots of barrel bluing remains, thin spot end of barrel left side, CC on frame has faded out, a little case colours on the hammer, can see some faded colors on lever when the lever is dropped, half cock and full cock zero issues.
