“ D “ Model Marlin 39 CARBINE , 20” Made only from 1971-74+- . This one is 1971 . 95%+ factory original blue . Complete in all aspects including a JM hammer spur . A few very light marks on the wood but overall a solid 85%+ . NO extra holes or BS and NO cracks ! Bore and mechanics are A1+ and has seen very little use as evidenced by the lack of blue wear on the upper lever area and sides of hammer . .22 s/L/LR .
In 40 years + I’ve owned a couple and have seen a few more , but they are a very scarce variation of the 39 . This is by far one of the nicest examples I have had .
