A very special Savage 99 . Take down .300 Sav cal . K model factory engraved C1928 . ALL numbers Match !! Checkering is sharp and well defined . The engraving is as well . Factory blue is easily 75%( conservative rating ) high gloss , w some marks and carry wear . Select grade walnut with some very nice figure . A small very TIGHT hairline back of upper tang ( typical savage ) . Small filled in chip at toe of stock . I’m being very critical here and as disclosure should be . All n all a gorgeous K engraved . I have another , don’t need 2 , only reason it EVER would be offered !
I have numerous pics and encourage a phone call with rifle in hand . Mechanics and bore all A1+ !! NO extra non factory holes or nonsense . Sports a period tang sight and a filler in the rear sight “ seat “
