A must for Stevens Savage target rifle collectors
Offered is a scarce Stevens Armory 414 single shot .22 precision target rifle. Heavy barreled with a Hi-Lux target scope (comes with, pls don`t ask to sell without). These supposedly were use by US Olympic teams many moon ago.
Scope is a HiLux Malcolm 4x3/4" 18" iircc(might be a 17", will confirm if asked)
I have shot this rifle using standard Vel 22, its a lot of fun and very accurate.
Overall, very good condition, bluing fade as would be expected from a 100ish yrs old rifle, Receiver color case hardening still visible and would rate at 8/10. The small scratch on the receiver is free, my gun smith did that FFS!!!
Retains original rear peep and front German silver blade , Walnut stock is very good with handling marks and a smallish dent on the right side fore stock. The stock is as original and has not been redone!
UPDATED PIC; the rifle is sitting in a custom pine locking carry/storage case. It can go with the rifle if bought FTF for an extra $250. Shipping would be expensive with the case, plus the rifle and scope weigh in at a little over 10lbs.
I`m willing to ship at your expense or come pick it up.
The scope remains with the rifle, price would be the same with or without the scope, pls don`t ask to buy without. Buy the rifle and get a cool free scope($900 value)
