I am no expert and open to negotiate fair market value. It appears to be all original and totally operational. No cracks, rifling and barrels ( 31.5 inches) are clean and undamaged. HCH Banziger and St. Gallen is etched in barrel (to difficult to get good picture) WK is stamped in wood. Please pass along your history knowledge as not much available on line. I would appreciate it. Likely 1880's hand made.

Hello, It's chambered for the long obsolete 10.3mm x 65R Baenziger "rimmed" black powder cartridge from Germany (late 1880's). Performance is similar to the various 9.3mm carts of the same era. It's built on a Lafacheaux break action and has a damascus (twist steel) shotgun barrel) and early pre WW1 German proof marks. Bertram still makes brass but quite scarce and expensive!
