Remington Model 14 -1/2 Pump 44-40

Very nice vintage Remington Model 14 - pump, chambered in 44-40.  Remington Date chart has this as a 1914 date of manufacture.

Rifle is in Good to Very good condition.  Has to blemishes, with the rear stock that is shown in the pictures.  Buttstock is cracked on the lower part at the back of the buttstock and the butt plate has been replaced, these two could be related.  It feels solid, but may be glued.  Foregrip shows some wear sign, but very good for its age, all screws appear original.

Blueing is 85% plus, Very Good for this old of a firearm.  Only wear showing wear the pump pulls back to the receiver and the feed gate.

Rifling and bore are defined and crisp, again, very good for a rifle of this vintage.
