Rare Winchester Model 1894 .32-40, octagon barrel with full length tube. Serial number 187439. Made in 1903. Rifle comes with a letter of verification from The Winchester Arms Collector’s Association from certified original records. Great condition considering it is 121 years old.
Wood appears to be original as the wood is level with all abutting metal. Typical marks associated with a rifle that it has been used and enjoyed. Has one reinforcing pin through the palm.
Shoots very well. Mechanically excellent condition. Still tight which is amazing.
Blueing is in relatively good condition considering its age. Shows patina and does not appear to have been restored.
Adjustable California rear sight. Front blade sight has been made smaller.
Has not been tapped for a scope. 26” barrel. 9 round tube.
Bore is typical of its age. It is dark but lands and grooves are clearly visible.
This is one of history’s great firearms from a great manufacturer. A great piece for anyone’s collection or to just experience the “Yellowstone” tv show firearms in person.
Comes with hard case and lock.
